Kudos wins two-year extension at Honourable Artillery Company
The Crown Group's Kudos division has won a two-year food and venue management contract extension with the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) worth around £3.8m.
As part of the new deal, which starts in January next year, Kudos will continue to operate at the HAC's City-based headquarters at Armoury House.
Head chef Graham Strong will lead the team as it runs the members' restaurant and hosts events at the venue, home to the oldest regiment in the British Army.
Jon Pryce, Kudos managing director, said: "Anybody who has been to the HAC will know what a truly unique venue it is. We are very proud to continue preparing a high standard of British food that is fitting for this remarkable place.
"Our relationship with the HAC has always been based on a mutual desire for quality British menus; it is this collective passion that makes our joint venture such a resounding success."
Digby O'Lone, chief executive of the HAC, added: "I am delighted that Kudos will be continuing to provide the catering at Armoury House and I'm confident that the venue will go from strength to strength, providing top-quality food and service."
The contract was originally awarded in September 2008, when Kudos won it from long-term incumbent Chester Boyd.
