Lexington appoints Russell Scanlon as sales and marketing director

Lexington Catering has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Russell Scanlon to the role of sales and marketing director, a position previously held by Julia Edmonds, who was recently promoted to managing director.

Scanlon joins the independent caterer from Compass Group‘s executive-dining division Restaurant Associates, where he was responsible for business development at both a regional and national level. Prior to this he was a consultant at Tricon Foodservice consultants.

Scanlon said he was delighted to be joining Lexington at an exciting period in the company's development. "Julia's accomplishments in this role will be a very hard act to follow but I am confident of our ambitious future growth plans and I cannot wait to celebrate further success as part of such a great team," he added.

The focus of Scanlon's role at Lexington will be to develop new business opportunities and continue to promote Lexington's brand presence within contract catering in London and the South-east.
