Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events has appointed Julie Tandy as catering services director at Everton FC to oversee the club's hospitality operation at Goodison Park.
Tandy takes on the role following an 18-month stint as general manager at the John Smith's Stadium - home to Huddersfield Town Football Club and Huddersfield Giants Rugby League Club.
The conference and event facilities at both venues are managed by UK catering company Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events.
Goodison Park has been home to Premier League club Everton since its completion in 1892.
The ground offers nine conference and event suites, along with several executive pitchside boxes for smaller meetings, lunches or dinners.
Tandy's career spans almost 20 years and previous positions include front of house manager at the National Portrait Gallery and project manager at Sadler's Wells Trust.
She said: "I have loved working in a sporting environment and am delighted to be taking the reins at Goodison Park.
"The stadium holds a very special place in the hearts of Merseysiders and of the Blues fans the world over and I hope to build on its existing excellent reputation as the go to venue for corporate and social events."
Natasha Carr, marketing manager at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, added: "Julie is a very strong commercial operator who, during her time at the John Smith's Stadium, acquired a thorough understanding and appreciation of the opportunities stadia bring to the conference and events market.
"She will be an asset to Goodison Park and we wish her every success in her new role."
