Sodexo launches series of promo videos aimed at staff
Contract caterer and facilities management company Sodexo has launched the latest part of its business rebranding exercise with a series of promotional videos aimed at staff.
The company, which renamed itself from Sodexo Alliance at the start of this year, has now launched its "Abetterday" www.abetterday.tv showcase.
Abetterday presents the experiences of 100 different Sodexo employees from around the world through 100 videos, and aims to raise awareness of the strength and depth of its operations amongst its 350,000 employees.
Phil Hooper, corporate affairs director at Sodexo, said: "Abetterday.tv is an extension of our recent rebranding strategy. Through this novel medium, we aim to further raise brand awareness of our organisation, and enthuse our employees across the globe."
Sodexo also plans to allow staff to upload their own videos eventually.
The company's ultimate aim is to raise awareness about the services it provides within the business market as it evolves from a pure contract caterer into a full facilities management firm.
Last autumn, Compass Group conducted a blockbuster HR exercise called "one Compass moment" in a bid to communicate its aims as a business and scope of operations to its employees around the world.
