Super-fast steamer from Equip Line

Caterers can save time, water and energy with the new Round-Up Variety Steamer from Equip Line, which uses superheated steam to cook pasta in a fraction of the time taken by traditional pasta cookers. The steamer, which won the New Product of the Year (Equipment) category in the recent Pizza and Pasta Association Awards, can steam 283.5g (10oz) of refrigerated precooked pasta in just 30 seconds. It can also cook the same quantity of vegetables in 120 seconds, locking in valuable vitamins and minerals. It is available in 13amp to 16amp models and costs about £1,633.
