Paul Bayliss named general manager of Harbour Hotel Southampton
Paul Bayliss has been appointed general manager of Harbour Hotel Southampton, the group's flagship property.
Bayliss has over 30 years' experience in the industry, having recently joined the 119-room Southampton property from Bespoke Hotel's Hotel Brooklyn, where he was regional general manager.
Bayliss has also held roles at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, Carden Park Hotel – Cheshire's Country Estate, the Midland hotel in Manchester and De Vere Hotels.
He became a Master Innholder in 2022 and completed the Cornell University General Mangers (International) Programme.
Earlier in his career, Bayliss spent 24 years in the British Army in a variety of roles including apprentice chef and commissioned officer.
