Le Bouchon Breton achieves what it intends, says critic

Fay Maschler of the Evening Standard gives Le Bouchon Breton three out of five stars on her second visit to the Spitalfields Market restaurant which coincided with "Fête de la Chasse" (game festival). She concludes the restaurant achieves what it intends to with "admirable thoroughness" but suggests a meal there is better enjoyed with friends.

The Metro's Marina O'Loughlin finds the food at Andy Campbell @ 23 Romilly Street "perfectly fine, if as mildly curious as the rest of the set-up", describing the restaurant as a "super-louche hang-out for the kind of person who thinks the French House is too vanilla."

Charmaine Mok for Time Out found Soho's Yalla Yalla (‘hurry up' in Lebanese) to be the "perfect little hideaway for friends." She describes the "solidly good Lebanese cooking" as "cheap, delicious and fast" and found the "savoury flavours faded away between each mouthful, leaving us wanting more with each bite."
