Luminar loses second director

Another director at Chicago Rock restaurant operator Luminar has resigned.

Finance director Andrew Burns is the second director within a month to hand in his notice.

He will leave after presenting the company's full-year results in mid-May after seven years with Luminar. His successor is yet to be named.

The resignation follows the departure of director of operations Alistair Burford, who left the company with immediate effect on 27 January.

Burford joined the company in 1988 and was appointed to the board in 2002.

Luminar recently won planning permission for a 15,240sq m entertainment casino in Leeds and is now proceeding with its licence application.
