Mitchells & Butlers to provide free Wi-Fi in three-year deal with O2
Pub and restaurant group Mitchells & Butlers has agreed a three-year deal with O2 to provide free Wi-Fi in its 1,600 sites across the UK.
The deal will see O2 Wi-Fi hotspots introduced to Mitchells & Butlers' UK restaurants and pubs across all brands, which include Harvester, Toby Carvery, Vintage Inns, Nicholson's, Browns, All Bar One and O'Neill's.
Robin Young, operations director at Mitchells & Butlers, said: "Every day in each of our businesses my teams provide great guest experiences and the availability of free Wi-Fi will give us a further opportunity to enhance this. We already know that people love to eat and drink with us and whether guests visit to relax over breakfast, brunch or dinner, work away from the office, or have a beer with friends and colleagues, we know from talking to them that free and easy-to-use Wi-Fi is something they want in the restaurant and pub environment."
The first hotspots will be introduced to 199 Harvester restaurants and all M&B restaurants and pubs are expected to be covered by October this year.
Guests expect Wi-Fi but should it be free? >>
