New brasserie from Bourne & Hollingsworth to open in London

A new all-day brasserie and bar from the team behind London bars Bourne & Hollingsworth and the Reverend JW Simpson is to open near London's Exmouth Market this September.

Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings (B&H Buildings) - on the ground floor of the B&H HQ - will seat 70 across 220 sq m and feature a greenhouse, café area, and large cocktail bar space. There will also be a 14-person private room featuring floor-to-ceiling antique cabinets displaying spirits and wines.

The all-day menu will focus on British classics from head chef Alex Visciano, who was sous chef at the Connaught hotel, and also worked at the two-Michelin-starred Michel Rostang in Paris.

The bar, which will look out over nearby gardens, has been inspired by the grand café design era, and will feature concrete panelling, oak, and geometric ironwork shelves.

There will also be whitewashed floorboards, diamond mirror panelling, white marble, and antique armchairs and sofas.
