Britvic upgrades no- and low-sugar drinks to 600ml bottles

In a bid to reinvigorate the on-the-go market for carbonated drinks in the current hard times, Britvic is upgrading its current 500ml no-sugar and low-sugar soft drinks to a larger, 600ml PET bottle.

From next month, this line - including Pepsi Max, Diet Pepsi, 7Up Free and Tango - will be available in the bigger bottles, which Britvic will sell at similar price points.

Company research showed a big increase in consumer purchase intent for the larger format compared with the current range, with 84% of respondents more likely to buy the 600ml format ahead of existing products.
