Iberica Leeds to be Spanish restaurant group's seventh site

Spanish restaurant group Iberica is to continue its regional expansion with a Leeds site opening this spring.

The seventh Iberica restaurant will be located in Hepper House in the city centre.

It will be designed by Spanish designer Lazaro Rosa Violan to feature rich blues and dark wood interiors, while the menu will be devised by two-Michelin-starred chef Nacho Manzano.

Dishes on offer at the 150-cover, three-storey site will include a range of tapas and larger dishes, such as traditionally made paella and Serrano ham croquettes.

Alongside the restaurant will be a delicatessen and wine bar, accessible through a separate entrance, which will offer a deli menu and wine list alongside a collection of olive oils, Ibérico hams, preserved fish and vegetables, as well as a large selection of Spanish cheeses and cured meats.

Iberica operates five sites in London, including Iberica Victoria, which opened in September 2015. Its only site outside London, Iberica Spinningfields, opened in Manchester in March 2015.
