The Caterer’s 2018 Product Excellence Awards open for entries

The 2018 Product Excellence Awards (PEAs) are open for entries, with a new look and branding, offering more exciting opportunities to showcase the best food, drink and equipment available on the market.

Open to manufacturers, producers and suppliers of food, drink or equipment, the PEAs are judged by a panel of industry experts, with successful products receiving exposure to an extensive audience of potential customers.

Foodservice operators continue to seek products that offer a point of difference to their customers or equipment that saves them time or money, and the PEAs provide this stage.

Lisa Jenkins, products and suppliers’ editor of The Caterer, said: “The PEAs give us the stage to recognise the research and development, the investment and sheer determination that is involved in the creation and launch of thousands of products introduced into hospitality every year.

“Taste, creativity, innovation, convenience, flavour, speed, sustainability, style and energy-saving credentials were recognised in the 2017 roll call of winners, with a host of companies recognised, including The Vinegar Shed, Bidfood, Kimbo, Paramount 21, Hobart, Meiko and Hoshizaki UK and Sous Vide Tools.”

The 2018 awards evening celebrating shortlisted and winning businesses will be held in London in December and provides an occasion for the suppliers and manufacturers behind the shortlisted products to get together and celebrate their success.
