Top chefs to appear at Craft Guild theatre at Hotelympia 2014

A host of top chefs will be showcasing their skills at the Craft Guild of Chefs' Skillery theatre at Hotelympia 2014.

Tom Kerridge, national chairman of the Guild Christopher Basten, Cyrus Todiwala, and outgoing National Chef of the Year 2012 Alyn Williams will all take the stage at the event at the Skillery in London's ExCel from 28 April to 1 May.

The 2013 National Chef of the Year Hayden Groves, and 2013 Young Chef of the Year, Ben Champkin, will also appear as part of the 40-minute-long scheduled shows.

The Guild will also be teaming up with LACA (the Lead Association for Catering in Education) to demonstrate a new workshop named Family Food Appreciation, as part of its current scheme that sees professional chefs go into schools to teach children and parents useful cooking skills.

The culinary demonstrations at Hotelympia are designed to help businesses improve their skills, increase margins, and hone their menus.

As in previous years, the 2014 exhibition will also include demonstrations, workshops, product displays and competitions, across sectors such as food and drink, equipment, tableware, interiors, bathrooms and spas, and technology.
