Dalston's Street Feast launches new night-time market event

The team behind popular Dalston Yard street food event Street Feast has launched a new weekend night market event.

Taking place indoors every Friday and Saturday night between Broadway Market and Hackney Road, East London, until 14 December, Hawker House will offer the expected street food traders plus winter warmers such as Hawker hot chocolate (hot chocolate with cognac and green chartreuse), hot buttered rum, craft beers and a 50-bottle whisky bar.

Street food dishes on offer will include B.O.B's Lobster, SmokeStak's smoked pork and ribs, fresh pasta from Cooking Cooks and steamed gua bao from Yum Bun, plus many more including fresh slider burgers and hot puddings. Stalls Mama's Jerk, Spit & Roast and Baba G are lined up to create new dishes especially for the event.

There will also be special events welcoming celebrities (and Street Feast members) such as Gizzi Erskine and Ben Spalding. A DJ will play until 2am.

The event will run from 5pm to 2am, and anyone buying a £3 entrance ticket will receive a free "hot shot" toddy as they arrive.
