Domino's names UK and Ireland's Fastest Pizza Maker 2006

Pali Grewal has become the UK and Ireland's Fastest Pizza Maker 2006.

The multi-unit franchisee from the South of England took the title by preparing three perfect pizzas in less than a minute (59.78 seconds), at a recent event held at Alton Towers, Staffordshire.

Grewal said: "The competition is seriously popular with all my employees and there is no question that it motivates team members to improve their pizza making times."

He will now head to the grand final in Las Vegas, USA next month where he we take on 12 other national winners for the ultimate accolade of World's Fastest Pizza Maker.

The worldwide Fastest Pizza Maker competition has been running since 1982.
