Lords of the Manor head chef to leave after four years

Matt Weedon, head chef of the Michelin-starred Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter, Gloucestershire, is to leave the restaurant after four years. He is believed to be joining the 10 in 8 Fine Dining Group.

Lords of the Manor, which also has three AA rosettes, said it was now seeking a new head chef of equal calibre to maintain its Michelin status and other accolades.

General manager of Lords of the Manor, Paul Thompson, said: "We wish Matt all the very best for the future and are looking forward to welcoming a new head chef to lead our talented kitchen brigade."
