Fresh and dried goods supplier Wellocks is holding an open day at its warehouse in Nelson, Lancashire, next month.
Run in association with Caterer and Hotelkeeper, the open day, entitled "The Perfect Ingredient Show 2012", will take place on Tuesday 20 March and will showcase the produce and products of more than 60 suppliers from all over Europe. The show is free to attend.
During the course of the day (doors open at 9am), leading chefs including John Campbell, Frances Atkins, Michael Wignall, Simon Radley, Paul Dickson and Leigh Myers, alongside suppliers such as MSK, Mouneyrac and Goodfellows, will be debating the issues around managing your relationship with suppliers and exploring how to get the best from them and the pros and cons of sourcing local produce.
Some of Britain's most talented chefs will be taking part in a Q&A session, which will include Lisa Allen, Sat Bains, Jason Atherton, Ian Matfin, Tim Bilton and James Mackenzie, alongside 2012 Great British Menu competitors Daniel Clifford and Aiden Byrne.
