The World's End Market to open in December
The Markets Group is to open its second site at the World's End pub on London's King's Road in December.
Founded by Anatoly Parkhomchuk and Ruslan Ugarov, the group already operates the Crystal Palace Market restaurant, butcher and fishmonger in South London.
The World's End Market will offer and all day dining menu of "market fresh" produce from an open kitchen which includes a fresh fish display and walk in meat fridge made of glass.
The ground floor of the site will house a 70-cover restaurant, featuring reclaimed wooden crates re-worked to create the woodwork on the walls and bar. In the basement will be a cocktail bar.
The all-day dining menu will include eggs benedict and traditional English breakfast, along with a range of burgers.
From the market menu, diners will be able to choose from daily changing dishes including oysters, scallops, and monk fish, along with a selection of steaks.
The restaurant will be run by general manager Stuart Oldershaw.
